Hi, My name is Lee Ortivez. I have 3 wonderful children named Hannah, Christian, and Ché, and a new addition, a grandson, Jayden Lee.
I have been a professional hairdresser for 25 years, beginning in high school. I am licensed cosmetology instructor at Scot Lewis Paul
Mitchell Partner school while owning and operating Salon Ché Salon and Day Spa, located in historic downtown Nampa. I am also a TIGI
Ambassador giving frequent product knowledge classes at the surrounding schools and salons.I enjoy being an instructor at Scot Lewis Paul Mitchell partner school. This will give me a new side to the business aspect and to be part of the educational team of future professionals. |

My education had a strong emphasis in advanced colorist skills, and the industry is something I have a strong passion for continuously learning more. I have been graced with mentors who have educated and done platform work for industry leading companies like TIGI, Sexy Hair, Italy, Babe Hair Extensions, Joico Color, and more. I am SO happy to be in a salon that has been established as an advanced training center! I'm from a very the rural area of Jordan Valley, OR, where my family owns and operates a large cattle ranch. I moved to Idaho to pursue my career in cosmetology. When I'm not doing hair, I like to be with family and friends, going to rodeos and concerts, doing artwork, dancing, camping, riding four-wheelers and horses, cooking, and shopping. Hard work and consideration towards others are my biggest values and I strive to reflect that in everything I do! I welcome everyone in to come see the salon and I hope to have you in my chair!

I graduated high school from Greenleaf Friends Academy in 2003, then went onto Headmasters School of Hair Design in 2006. I love what I am doing, and I love to watch my clients leave just glowing. I am married and have two kids, Riley is 3, and Taylor is 2. I believe that family always come first.
